Drinking mate
An infusion called mate is prepared by filling a vessel (hollowed out gourd) with dry leaves of the plant, and water at 70-80ºC. It can also be drunk cold. And then it is known as terere. Drinking mate in Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and southern Chile is a social affair, and a shared ritual. Friends and family members can drink from the same container. Traditionally, a hollow gourd and a wooden or metal straw that also serves as a strainer (bombilla) are used.
Lemon grass (lemon grass) is a plant that has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. It is good for the health of teeth and gums. There are also claims that it protects the lining of the stomach and thus helps with indigestion and stomach problems. It was also used in folk medicine for problems with cholesterol. Lemon peel contains antioxidants that help maintain overall health. It is rich in vitamin C, which can help strengthen immunity and maintain a healthy immune system. Dried lemon peels have traditionally been used to aid digestion, as they are believed to stimulate the production of digestive enzymes, and alleviate digestive complaints. Peppermint is refreshing, can help with headaches, indigestion and stomach problems, as well as flatulence. Mate with Lemongrass is one of our blends that contain the mate plant.
