Description
Tea for Lovers
A blend of black tea, apple, cinnamon, almonds and ginger.
Black tea for lovers, a longtime favorite of many. Loved both for its name and its aromatic composition.
The smell of this magical mixture is reminiscent of a cozy winter morning. A cup of hot tea in hand, while tucked in a blanket, we watch the snow fall outside.
Why tea for lovers?
Almonds are considered one of the aphrodisiacs along with other nuts. There is speculation that a diet rich in these nuts may be beneficial for testosterone production. And also for enhancing desire in women and men. It has been suggested that perhaps the omega 3, magnesium, and general antioxidants in nuts may be a factor.
In addition to the almonds, the ingredients that make this blend irresistible are the apple pieces that contribute to the mild fruity notes, as well as the cinnamon and ginger that give it spiciness.
The basis of this mixture is black tea, which makes it ideal for the morning.
Black tea (also known as red tea in Asia) comes from a plant called Camellia sinensis, as well as green, white and other “real” teas. But, unlike the mentioned teas, it went through a longer oxidation process and slightly different processing. Black tea is also generally stronger, both in terms of taste and caffeine content.
Two “types” of camellia are used to produce black tea. The Chinese variety has smaller leaves (Camellia sinensis var. sinensis). It is also used for the production of other teas, while another variety with larger leaves (Camellia sinsesis var. assamica) is traditionally used mostly for black tea.
In addition to this mixture, you can also find almonds in the Turkish honey mixture, which you can eat after drinking the tea.
