Organic Chun mee
This organic green tea has established a position among tea connoisseurs with its freshness, dry character and moderately sweet floral taste. Leaflets in shades of green are slightly open and shortly curled like small eyebrows.
Chun mee can also be called:
- Chun Mei
- Zhen Mei
As well as “Precious Eyebrows” which is actually a translation for the name Chun mee, and is one of the most offten used “nicknames” for Chun mee green tea.
There are also some white teas that are called Mei or “eyebrow teas” because of their shape (Gong Mei, Shou Mei).
Where does Chun mee grow?
The cultivation area for organic Chun mee tea is in China (Hubei, EnShi, Xuan ´En ). There is a small area of land that has been certified organic since around 2010 and specializes in the production of Gunpowder and Mee Cha green teas.
